Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a Bilingual Chief Financial Officer for a major Developer in the Greater Ottawa Area, with option for remote work and occasional office visits. The CFO will lead financial strategy across investment, development, asset management and construction platforms.

The ideal candidate has CPA designation, 10+ years of financial leadership, and strong experience in construction or real estate investment.

Qualifications

CPA designation is required.
10+ years of progressive financial leadership, including executive level.
Experience in construction development or real estate investment preferred.
Bilingualism in French and English is required.

Responsibilities

Lead Investment Management: capital raising, fund structures and investor reporting.
Oversee Development Management: development pro formas, budgeting and projections.
Direct Asset Management: refinancing, NOI tracking and liquidity optimization.
Manage Construction Company finances: WIP reporting, cost-to-complete and lender relations.
Oversee Accounting: monthly/quarterly/annual statements, internal controls and ERP systems.
Provide Cross-Functional leadership with CEO on strategy and risk management.
