Job summary

You will define architectures, manage integration efforts, run simulations, and support testing from a remote location, collaborating with a global team. The ideal candidate has a Master’s in a related field and 7+ years in aviation systems engineering, with strong MBSE/DOORS experience

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in aviation systems engineering, with a focus on systems integration.
• Proven experience in integrating complex avionics, communication, or data systems onto aircraft.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, tools, and methodologies (e.g., MBSE, DOORS).
• Proficiency in simulation and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, STK).
• Familiarity with aviation standards and regulations (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254, ARINC).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and manage projects autonomously.
• Experience with communication protocols and data buses used in aviation.
• Must possess a dedicated home office setup with reliable high-speed internet.

Responsibilities

• Define and document system integration requirements and architectures for aviation platforms.
• Develop and manage system integration plans, schedules, and test procedures.
• Oversee the integration of various subsystems, including avionics, software, hardware, and communication systems.
• Conduct system-level simulations and analyses to verify integration and performance.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders in a remote environment.
• Support system testing, validation, and verification activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues encountered during development and testing phases.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system integration processes, configurations, and results.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and standards in aviation systems integration.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration methodologies and tools.
