Outlier, an AI evaluation platform owned by Scale AI, seeks detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, rank outputs, and write precise explanations of issues found.

This is a remote, flexible, freelance opportunity with weekly payments and a performance-based incentive structure. You will evaluate images, videos, captions, and audio, providing evidence-based feedback.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Detail-oriented with patience to rewatch or zoom in on content.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to make clear decisions when multiple options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness and usefulness.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images/videos and judge prompt adherence.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot problems like distortions or misalignment.
• Provide written explanations pointing to what you observed or heard.
