Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented, English-fluent contributors to train AI models through live conversations and evaluation tasks. You will rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity of responses and compare media outputs against prompts.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, strong attention to detail, and experience drafting concise, evidence-based explanations in English. Remote, flexible freelance work with project-based pay.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Strong attention to detail, with the patience to inspect and replay content.
• Ability to think on your feet and explain decisions clearly.
• Experience writing brief, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Capable of making decisions when options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations with AI voice models and ranking outputs.
• Comparing AI-generated images/videos and judging adherence to prompts.
• Inspecting outputs closely for distortions, flickering, or mismatches in audio/video.
• Providing written explanations in English detailing observations and judgments.
