Job summary

RemoteJobsOne seeks an Aerodynamics Expert for a fully remote Canada-based role. You will perform CFD and aerodynamic analyses, develop computational models, and automate workflows with Python. This contractor position offers flexible hours (~15/wk) and a pay rate of 80–150 CAD per hour.

You'll work with CLI-based tools, define boundary conditions, mesh domains, and validate results, contributing to AI training projects and advanced fluid-dynamics tasks.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Aerospace Engineering or related field with aero specialization (or BS + 1–2 years aero experience).
• Strong fluid mechanics and applied aerodynamics knowledge.
• Experience with CFD or aerodynamic analyses.
• Python proficiency.
• Experience with at least one CLI/scriptable engineering tool.
• Ability to justify modeling choices and diagnose issues.
• Ability to communicate engineering trade-offs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Solve and validate aerodynamic and fluid-dynamics problems.
• Translate physical requirements into computational models and cases.
• Create or modify geometries, domains, and meshes.
• Define initial/boundary conditions, fluid properties, and solver settings.
• Run CFD and aerodynamic-analysis workflows via CLI tools.
• Use Python to automate preprocessing, simulations, postprocessing, and validation.
