Job summary

ROBIC, an IPH Limited firm, seeks an Administrative Technician for the Patent Department in a dynamic, professional environment. You will collaborate with assistants, paralegals, specialists, and patent agents, supporting document processing and client communications.

Qualifications

• DEP or College diploma in administration (or equivalent).
• Minimum of two years in an administrative role.
• Proficiency in French and English writing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send official correspondence and documents.
• Monitor deadlines and send reminders.
• Respond to client emails professionally.
• Process payments of official fees with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO).
• Process requests for assignments, changes of address, name changes, and other file updates with CIPO.
• Conduct searches in CIPO databases, as required.
• Respond to requests from internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to general administrative support activities.
