Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of ACT Writing format and scoring rubric.
• Ability to explain evaluating perspectives and constructing arguments.
• Familiarity with scoring criteria and common challenges in ACT Writing.
• Ability to explain concepts using multiple approaches.
• Strong communication and engaging teaching style.
• Ability to adapt to different learning needs and styles.

Responsibilities

• Tutor ACT Writing: guide students through planning, outlining, drafting, and revising essays.
• Explain scoring rubrics and provide targeted feedback to improve performance.
• Practice timed prompts and develop strategies for responding to multiple perspectives.
