Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of ACT Writing test format, rubric, and scoring criteria.
• Ability to explain evaluation of perspectives, thesis, evidence, and language use.
• Experience teaching timed essays and structure within a 40-minute window.
• Strong communication and engaging teaching style.
• Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online ACT Writing tutoring sessions.
• Teach rapid outline construction and perspective analysis.
• Guide students through evaluating three perspectives and forming a position.
