Job summary

Turner Construction in Seattle is hiring 2024-2025 graduates for an Entry Level Engineering Assistant role within the Special Projects Division (SPD) and other business units. The position supports project engineers and engineers by handling shop drawings, data, RFIs, and documentation, contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Assist in obtaining and reviewing information for processing, and approvals for shop drawings, product data, and samples.
• Assist in communication of information across project team levels.
• Assist in preparing estimates for changes in work and review of Change Order requests.
• Study contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for proper coordination and installation.
• Assist in maintenance and updates of contract documents and project logs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing other aspects of communication including submission and responses for Requests for Information (RFI's).

• Assist in maintenance and updates of contract documents, electronic web-based documents, and project logs.
• Distribute information required for construction to appropriate parties.
• Assist Engineering to ensure materials and equipment are released for fabrication or manufacture in time to meet construction schedule.
• Assist in preparation of final records for project including close-out documents, Operations/Maintenance (OM) Manuals, and other related documentation.
• Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
