Location: Remote (in-office training required for the first week)

Summary:

The Remarketing Coordinator reports to the Manager of Remarketing. The individual will manage the on-hold report, make adjustments for units to be sale-ready, liaise with dealers and lessees for documentation, and ensure timely follow-ups and compliance with manufacturer guidelines on vehicle returns. A good understanding of lease end options, contractual obligations, and end-of-term procedures is essential.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  1. Assist dealers with Lease Termination Program
  2. Monitor and act on the grounding report
  3. Coordinate with dealers to ensure grounded vehicles are terminated within guidelines
  4. Work with the Remarketing Department to optimize customer and dealer experience and handle disputes related to vehicle returns, disposition, inspections, and invoicing
  5. Report trends or concerns to supervisor
  6. Ensure accounts are ready for accurate invoicing
  7. Monitor vehicle returns and facilitate timely account releases for invoicing
  8. Follow up on accounts in an organized manner
  9. Adjust unit conditions for proper sale declarations
  10. Prepare correspondence, respond to emails, and manage account releases
  11. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in automobile leasing or used car sales
  • Excellent bilingual communication skills in French and English
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Customer-centric approach in communication
  • Strong knowledge of end-of-term processes
  • Professional handling of pushbacks
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and act with integrity
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, and multitask
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Act as liaison between dealers and lessees to enhance communication and customer experience
