Job summary

The North West Company seeks a Relief Pharmacist (3-Month Term) for Muskehki Pharmacy inside NorthMart in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This role blends community pharmacy with central fill operations to support remote Northern communities.

You will provide patient-centered care, verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and collaborate with the pharmacy team, with Monday–Friday hours and weekend rotation pending needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba.
• Strong communication and patient counselling skills.
• Community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience with NIHB billing processes is an asset.
• Experience in high-volume dispensing environments is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional pharmacy services and patient-centered care.

Dual Role: Central Fill + Community Pharmacy

Muskehki Pharmacy operates as both a community pharmacy serving Winnipeg customers and a central fill pharmacy supporting NWC pharmacy locations across Northern Manitoba. This unique model provides a well-rounded practice experience with a combination of direct patient care and prescription fulfillment services.
