Job summary

The North West Company seeks a Relief Pharmacist (3-Month Term) for Muskehki Pharmacy inside NorthMart in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This role blends community pharmacy with central fill operations to support remote Northern communities.

You will provide patient-centered care, verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and collaborate with the pharmacy team, with Monday–Friday hours and weekend rotation pending needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba.
• Strong communication and patient counselling skills.
• Community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience with NIHB billing processes is an asset.
• Experience in high-volume dispensing environments is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional pharmacy services and patient-centered care.
• Ensure compliance with provincial pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Verify prescriptions and support dispensing activities.
• Deliver medication counselling and clinical services.
• Support central fill pharmacy operations and workflow.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and pharmacy team members.
