Loblaw Companies Limited is recruiting for a Pharmacy position in Canada. The role reports to the Pharmacy Manager and focuses on receiving, preparing and delivering Rx accurately and timely, maintaining inventory, and counselling patients with proper documentation.

You will counsel patients, educate customers, and support ongoing training for staff, while ensuring cost control and patient satisfaction in a dynamic pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license is required.
• Excellent leadership and performance management skills.
• Proven ability to build the business using community based marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem solving skills including experience formulating and executing action plans.
• Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy Computer system is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
• Ensure medication and OTC supplements inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needs.
• Counsel patients regarding new and existing medications with friendly, proactive interaction.
• Create awareness and educate customers through public relations activities.
• Provide timely and positive resolution to patients’ needs and Doctor’s requests.
• Review and control costs within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary).
• Provide ongoing training for all Pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs).
