Job summary

Sobeys Inc. in Vancouver is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to provide pharmacy services and support to customers, medical practitioners and other retail pharmacies working shifts scheduled by the Relief Coordinator.

Responsible to work within assigned territory achieving excellence in the areas of patient focused care, customer service, workflow efficiencies, and professional clinical services. Actively contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist qualification and registration to practice.
• Strong communication and patient-focused care.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacy services and support to customers, practitioners and other retail pharmacies.
• Deliver patient-centered care and exceptional service during shifts.
• Participate in disease state management, medication reviews and health risk assessments.
• Coach and mentor pharmacy assistants and students where applicable.
