Job summary

Interior Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Long-term Care team at Forest View Place in Clearwater, BC. The role entails performing assessments, planning and delivering nursing care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Shifts will be days and nights on a 07:00–19:00 / 19:00–07:00 rotation, with this being a Relief Full Time (1.0) position until March 17, 2028 or return of incumbent. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized LPN program.
• Current full practicing licensure with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessments and plans, provides personal and nursing care to patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team; scope varies by patient population.
• Administers oral, subcutaneous and intramuscular medications in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Operates in accordance with the Standards of Practice and organizational policies, procedures and unit protocols.
