Reporting to the Site Supervisor and working as an integral member of the maintenance team, the Electrical Instrumentation & Control Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance work orders, as well as installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing industrial instrumentation and control equipment.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related technical diploma (AEC or equivalent).
• Relevant experience in industrial instrumentation and control.
• Class C Licence (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills in French
• Written and verbal communication skills in English would be considered an asset

WORK CONDITIONS

As our teams support projects at various industrial sites, assignments may vary depending on operational needs.

Candidates must be willing to work different schedules, including:

• Regular daytime schedule, Monday to Friday.
• 7 days on / 7 days off rotation (7/7).
• 14 days on / 14 days off rotation (14/14).
• Fly-in/Fly-out assignments, when required by project needs.
• Travel to customer sites throughout Quebec.
