Job summary

RBC in Surrey, Canada seeks a Business Advisor to provide strategic financial guidance and manage a portfolio of high value small business clients. You will act as RBC's ambassador to the local market, developing new business and deepening relationships while collaborating with RBC partners to deliver tailored solutions that clients value.

In this role you will engage in client discovery, plan market activities, and advocate digital channels to help clients grow their enterprises.

Qualifications

• Must-have: business development and client acquisition skills, including leveraging centres of influence in the local business community.
• Proven track record in exceptional client relationship management.
• Nice-to-have: knowledge of credit, risk assessments, and broad business/personal financial products.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, grow and deepen client relationships through tailored financial advice.
• Proactively contact clients, gather insights via discovery, assess needs and satisfaction.
• Plan and prioritize client and market activities; coordinate with RBC partners.
• Manage risk and exercise due diligence in banking procedures.
• Champion digital enablement and RBC mobile/online channels for clients.
• Visit clients on-site to understand business objectives and operations.
