Facilitates growth initiatives for the Bank through significant business development and excellent management of key client relationships. Maintains an outstanding and continuous record of significant revenue generation from sales and syndications. Ensures the required internal control standards, including adherence to audit, regulatory and compliance policies.
- Leads and executes business development plans to achieve or exceed business goals.
- Provides strategic input into business decisions as a trusted advisor.
- Makes recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives, based on an in-depth understanding of the business/group.
- Acts as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies.
- Advises on sales strategy based on a deep understanding of the market, industry verticals, competitors, client needs, and growth opportunities.
- Conducts independent analysis to resolve strategic issues.
- Develops business cases by identifying needs, analyzing options, and assessing ROI.
- Recommends business priorities, resource requirements, and develops strategic roadmaps.
- Networks with industry contacts for insights and best practices.
- Coordinates database management, ensuring data alignment with governance standards.
- Leads change management programs, including assessments, planning, stakeholder management, and evaluation.
- Manages portfolio risks promptly and accurately.
- Oversees review processes, reports, and exception resolutions.
- Maintains documentation and ensures policy compliance.
- Leads operational program execution, ensuring quality and adaptability.
- Acts as daily sales contact for client inquiries.
- Gathers data and completes documentation for sales processes.
- Supports pre-sales activities like pitch preparation and client research.
- Tracks implementation requests and internal reports, recommending improvements.
- Prepares client information packages and provides research support.
- Ensures seamless sales and service administration.
- Maintains accurate client records and billing information.
- Serves as a resource to senior leaders at a group/enterprise level.
- Addresses complex situations creatively and implements trend-based changes.
Qualifications:
- Typically 7+ years of experience with a relevant post-secondary degree or equivalent.
- Credit qualifications if applicable, with relevant knowledge and skills.
- Successful business development experience, with strong networking skills.
- Knowledge of industry verticals and market environment.
- Experience in negotiations, RFP responses, and sales strategies.
- Deep understanding of risk, sales, relationship management, change leadership, and resource planning.
- Strong business acumen, financial understanding, and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication, analytical, influence, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and make data-driven decisions.
Salary:
$84,000.00 - $156,000.00
