Internal Job Title: Relationship Manager

Reports To: Team Lead - Account Management

Job Requirement(s): Travel throughout Canada and USA, 3 weeks per quarter

The Role:

The Relationship Manager is tasked with building and maintaining all aspects of the relationship with our larger groups and key accounts. This dynamic role will liaise with all management levels of our most valued clients and develop strategies internally to ensure a strong and continuous partnership. Knowing the pulse of the client is at the forefront of all activities, and it can provide decision insight to PBS management by maintaining an always current view of operations.

As the key account client is moved through the DMS Sale – Install – Follow up process, the Relationship Manager (RM) is involved initially at an overview level. As the client moves to standard PBS lines of communication and interaction, the RM more fully engages. This transfer from project management to relationship management, including the central issues list, provides ongoing oversight and ensures a successful long-term implementation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of translation requests from initial assessment to final delivery
  • Work with cross-functional teams within Development and provide translation services as required
  • Educate Internal and External Customers on the release process
  • Maintain release management schedule for Software, Mobile Apps and Web Services
  • Maintain documentation of all processes and communicate all changes in release notes
  • Build and maintain productive, meaningful relationships with customers
  • Ensure tickets and projects are correctly updated and closed
  • Escalate critical issues to management or development silos in a timely fashion
  • Provide release coordination and communication during and after deployment

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French (Quebecois) and English
  • Flexible, fast learner who thrives in a constantly changing work environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated
  • Strong time management, organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
  • Willingness to commitment to an ongoing system of education and cross-training
  • Automotive Dealership experience is an asset

To qualify for this role, you must:

  • Have been in your current role for at least 6 months
  • Have no PIP (Performance Improvement Plan)
