About the role

The Client Relationship Manager (CRM) contributes to the overall success of the Commercial Bank in Canada by ensuring the execution and delivery of specific goals, plans, and initiatives that support the team's business strategies and objectives. The CRM ensures all activities comply with regulations, policies, and procedures.

The CRM is responsible for effective relationship management, sales planning, and service fulfillment for the existing customer base. They are also responsible for credit application analysis and completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Promote the development and profitable growth of the commercial banking portfolio in an assigned market area.
  2. Build and maintain a market profile through internal and external contacts.
  3. Manage an assigned credit portfolio with authorizations up to $10MM, maintaining an acceptable risk level.
  4. Develop and implement marketing strategies to maximize business development opportunities for sustainable growth.
  5. Create sales plans for prospects and existing customers.
  6. Identify prospects and referrals from internal and external networks.
  7. Analyze prospect lists and prioritize business opportunities based on market data and customer analytics.
  8. Partner with internal resources for non-credit related products.
  9. Refer customers and prospects to the appropriate segments and partners.
  10. Plan and execute relationship activities that generate sales opportunities and add value to clients.
  11. Maintain awareness of local market and economic conditions.
  12. Foster a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive workplace.
