Interior Health in Trail seeks an experienced Relational Security Supervisor to lead assigned staff on shift and coordinate after-hours actions with the Coordinator, Relational Security Operations and on-call Manager. The role ensures compliance with policies while maintaining secure facilities and staff safety.

The term position runs until 17 August 2027. The supervisor will oversee patrols, incident reporting, and coordination with health care teams in a dynamic hospital environment,

Responsabilités

• Supervises assigned staff by providing work direction and coordinating relief staffing.
• Assists with performance reviews by providing reports and indicators to Coordinator, Relational Security Operations Team Leader.
• Promotes team-based problem solving and proactive issue resolution.
• Patrols facilities and grounds using surveillance equipment; enforces security procedures and secures entries.
• Responds to emergencies including disaster plans and medical events; coordinates with medical staff as required.
• Investigates disturbances and documents incidents per Protection Services procedures.
• Provides security for patients and staff; offers security escorts as needed and responds to requests for assistance.
• Operates identification, access control, CCTV and related security systems.
