Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma from a two year Recreation or Therapeutic Recreation Program.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Current St. John Ambulance First Aid course preferred.
• Current certification in Non Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) is an asset.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision of health, health promotion and therapeutic services to rehabilitation patients.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to carry out treatment programs.
• Communicate patient-specific information to enhance treatment team knowledge.
