A health services provider in Burnaby, BC is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant to support residents in daily activities and rehabilitation tasks. This role requires a completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program and skills in communication and physical ability. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of health professionals to aid in resident mobility, assist in self-care, and report on progress. Qualifications

• Completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program or equivalent education, training and experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal effectively with others.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with mobility, strengthening exercises, and daily living activities.
• Participate in optimal function retraining related to self-care.
• Report observations of resident's behavior and progress to Therapist/Nurse.
