Extendicare is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide for our Hillcrest Place in Brandon, MB. You will work closely with OT/PT staff and nurses to support resident programming and mobility goals.

This full-time role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and helping residents improve daily living skills with assistive devices. Training and mentorship are provided, with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Implements the maintenance of patient programming under the direction of the OT/PT.Communicate changes in resident abilities and function to the OT/PT, the unit nurses and the Nursing Rehab lead, to complete the program assigned.Prepares apparatus and equipment required for the program.Working closely with the wheelchair companies to ensure that the resident adaptive aids are safe and functional.Help residents learn skills needed for daily living to improve or maintain resident’s abilities to function independently.
