The role involves implementing programs, promoting client independence in home and community settings, and participating in team conferences and ongoing education. A valid driver’s license is required where applicable.

The Rehabilitation Assistant, under the direction of the assigned supervisor, is accountable for ensuring the delivery of the treatment program as prescribed by the applicable regulated health care practitioner. The Rehab Assistant supports adult and/or pediatric clients to help them achieve their maximum potential by carrying out the prescribed treatment program, documenting client progress, and reporting outcomes to the applicable regulated health care provider.
Completion of a recognized Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Rehabilitation Assistant college program. A university degree in kinesiology and/or a RRP or CCRC designation will also be considered.
