Summary of the role
We are expanding our team and seeking a candidate to fulfill a key technical and oversight role ensuring Diligenta and its services comply with FCA rules, requirements, and principles. This includes supporting regulatory change, analyzing rules, managing policies and training, and conducting oversight exercises and reviews.
This role is available in multiple locations: Peterborough, Bristol, Glasgow, and Liverpool.

What you'll be doing
- Providing regulatory guidance to ensure compliance with FCA rules
- Advising senior leaders and operational teams on regulatory and legislative matters, supporting Conduct Risk and Consumer Duty integration
- Assessing operational functions for regulatory alignment
- Supporting regulatory requirement communication through training
- Leading oversight activities like gap analysis and assurance reviews
- Representing Compliance in governance committees
- Supporting interactions with FCA teams
- Overseeing adherence to Training and Competence policies
- Advising on regulatory changes and maintaining compliance policies
- Supporting the delivery of compliance plans and strategic initiatives
- Collaborating with stakeholders to meet regulatory objectives
What we're looking for
- A proactive and pragmatic compliance professional with problem-solving skills
- Ability to deliver practical compliance solutions confidently
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in leadership or oversight roles
- Knowledge of regulatory horizon scanning
- Skills in analyzing management information for compliance concerns
- Ability to produce clear reports for senior management
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- At least 3 years' experience in Compliance or Risk in Financial Services
- Understanding of UK FCA regulations
- Willingness to travel as needed
