Qualifications

  • Regulated pharmacy technicians must be registered with the College of Pharmacists in the province of employment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

Regulated Pharmacy Technician

London Drugs is a proud Canadian company based out of Richmond, BC, operating over 80 stores in Western Canada. Our focus is on optimal patient care through semi-private counselling booths, counselling rooms, advanced robotic dispensing technology, monthly clinical programs, and a cooperative team of pharmacists, regulated pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy assistants. Regulated Pharmacy Technicians can participate in roles including Travel Medicine, INR monitoring, CDE, and Long-term care. You will assist the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily pharmacy operations, including customer service, handling telephone inquiries, and general housekeeping. Responsibilities also include operating pharmacy computer systems, processing and preparing prescriptions, managing drug orders, and maintaining inventory. Regulated pharmacy technicians must have completed all required national and provincial programs and passed the exams. Registration with the respective College of Pharmacy in your province is mandatory.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with enthusiasm
  • Ability to relate to diverse customers and their needs
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Teamwork skills and a collaborative approach
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience preferred

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. The successful candidate may be required to work at multiple locations within the Victoria market.
