Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Vancouver, BC is hiring a Regulated Pharmacy Technician at the King Edward location. This role includes an hourly premium of $5.00 for hours worked and a pay band of $24.50–$31.50 per hour.

You will receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions, transfer prescriptions between pharmacies, ensure accuracy and perform the final check of dispensed items. Responsibilities include dispensing prescriptions, supporting dispensary and front-store operations, and delivering excellent

Qualifications

• Regulated Pharmacy Technician licence in good standing.
• Experience with dispensing and prescription processes is preferred.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners.
• Transferring prescriptions to and receiving prescriptions from other pharmacies.
• Ensuring prescription is complete and authentic; performing the final check of a prepared prescription.
• Performing all the technical functions of dispensing prescriptions.
• Supporting dispensary and front store operations.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Observing and directing Pharmacy Assistants and Clerks in the dispensary activities.
• Performing other duties as directed by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist.
