Job summary

Beattie Pet Hospital – Burlington is seeking an RVT to join our busy general practice. You’ll use your RVT skills in surgical prep, anesthesia support, dental radiographs, lab work, digital radiography, and patient care with our DVMs and team.

We value teamwork and clear client communication. Compensation is $23–$30/hour based on experience, with benefits including health and dental, RRSP, continuing education, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Active RVT license in Ontario
• Experience in a busy general practice
• Ability to work with DVMs and support team

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical prep, anesthesia support, and patient recovery
• Perform dental procedures and dental radiographs
• Run laboratory tests and diagnostics
• Take digital radiographs
• Administer medications and fluids
• Provide patient care, monitoring, and handling
• Educate clients and communicate effectively
• Assist veterinarians with procedures and appointments

is looking for an RVT to join our team. We’re a busy general practice where RVTs play an active role in patient care and work closely with our DVMs and support team.

Your Role

You’ll have the opportunity to use your RVT skills across a variety of areas, including:

• Surgical preparation, anesthesia support, and patient recovery
• Dental procedures and dental radiographs
• Laboratory testing and diagnostics
• Digital radiography
• Medication administration and fluid therapy
• Patient care, monitoring, and handling
• Client education and communication
• Assisting veterinarians with procedures and appointments
