Job summary

Romeo Pet Hospital in Stratford, Ontario is seeking a full-time RVT to join our experienced and caring team, delivering hands-on patient care, assisting in surgery and growing their skills.

We offer a four-day work week with 8–10 hour shifts, occasional Saturdays, opportunities in small animal and pocket pet medicine, dentistry, acupuncture and laser therapy, plus ongoing CE.

Qualifications

• Full-time RVT with hands-on patient care and surgery.
• Opportunity to grow technical skills.
• Experience in small animal and pocket pet medicine is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide small animal and pocket pet medicine.
• Engage in surgical opportunities and patient care.
• Support dentistry, acupuncture & laser therapy, and diverse procedures.
• Perform comprehensive exams and a range of diagnostics.

For 29 years, Romeo Pet Hospital has been caring for the pets and families of Stratford. We see a diverse mix of small animal and pocket pet patients, giving our RVTs the opportunity to be involved in a variety of cases and procedures.

We’re looking for a full-time RVT to join our experienced and caring team - someone who enjoys hands‑on patient care, surgery and having the opportunity to continue growing their skills.

What you can expect:

• $25 - $27/hour, based on experience
• 4 - day work week
• 8 -10 hour shifts
• One Saturday every 4-5 weeks
