Job summary

Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering & Oshawa is seeking a Registered Technologist to join Diagnostic Imaging Services. The role involves producing radiographs and CT images and assisting Radiologists while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Requirements include a recognized Medical Radiation Sciences program, a CMRITO license, and the ability to work all shifts on short notice; CAMRT membership is preferred.

This regular full-time position offers CAD 36.84–50.24 per hour in the Durham region.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a recognized Medical Radiation Sciences program.
• Must have CMRITO license.
• Demonstrated knowledge of radiographic, fluoroscopic and CT techniques.
• Proven communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work all shifts on short notice; on site within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Produce radiographs and CT images and store/record them as required.
• Assist Radiologist and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain competence per CMRT and CAMRT/OAMRS guidelines.
• Rotate into other radiographic modalities and train students/technologists.
