Registered Technologist - Radiochemistry - Brain Health Imaging Centre
The Brain Health Imaging Centre (BHIC) is one of the primary research areas of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and focuses on brain imaging methods used in mental health and addictions for clinical neuroscience research. The BHIC is a teaching centre of excellence, fully affiliated with the University of Toronto.
The Positron Emitting Tomography (PET) Imaging Program in the BHIC is currently seeking one full-time, contract Technologist (Radiochemistry). Reporting to the Manager of Radiochemistry Research & Production, under the oversight of the Director & Chief Radiochemist, you will :
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related science and have experience with analytical methods and equipment such as HPLC, GC, and TLC. Working in a GMP and / or PET radiochemistry environment is considered an asset. You will be detail-oriented with demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to produce high quality and accurate work while meeting deadlines. Good interpersonal communication (oral / written) skills are required along with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members in a multi-disciplinary team and flexible working environment. Bilingualism (French / English) or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.
