Sunnybrook Research Institute is seeking a full-time Junior Research Analyst for its neuroimaging laboratory. The Dr. Sandra Black Centre for Brain Resilience & Recovery is currently seeking a full-time Junior Research Analyst to join our neuroimaging laboratory within the LC Campbell Cognitive Neurology research unit. Our neuroimaging lab specializes in the development and application of cutting-edge multi-modal brain imaging analyses to study neurovascular and neurodegenerative diseases causing dementia. Under the supervision of Dr. Sandra E. Black, you will report to the Imaging Lab Manager, receive direction from other clinical research staff, and work with the team to produce high-quality neuroimaging data.
Your primary responsibility will be to implement an in-house developed brain image analysis technique used to acquire biomarkers from patients’ structural and functional MRI. Additional duties include: study administration, creating/maintaining study documentation, data cleaning/maintenance, quality control, performing literature reviews, creating figures/tables for manuscripts, presenting findings, and training visiting clinical/postdoctoral fellows and staff. After training, you are expected to independently troubleshoot technical issues using your knowledge and research skills. We support a work environment committed to inclusion and diversity.
