Job summary

William Osler Health System in Ontario is seeking a Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine for a part-time, casual position in the Imaging program.

You will perform nuclear medicine procedures, support radiologists, and ensure patient care across Osler's sites, with shifts days/evenings including weekends.

Current CAMRT/CMRITO registration required; DPX experience is an asset; travel between sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nuclear medicine program.
• Current CAMRT and CMRITO registration required.
• Experience in nuclear medicine including IV and ECG setups is preferred.
• Cardiology experience is an asset.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures per department policy.
• Provide radiologists with high-quality imaging and assist with data acquisition.

Accountabilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures as per departmental policy and procedure
• Provide the radiologists with high quality imaging and have knowledge of computer acquisition and analysis and other related duties as assigned
• Facilitate the provision of optimal patient care, observing and understanding hospital and departmental policies and procedures
  • Graduate of an approved nuclear medicine program
  • Current registration with CAMRTand CMRITO required
  • Proven skill in nuclear medicine including IVsetup and ECG setup
  • DPX experience is an asset
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record
  • Experience in nuclear cardiology would be an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, the public, medical staff and members of the interdisciplinary team using verbal, written, computer communication means
  • Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and a commitment to excellence in the provision of client care

  • Demonstrated ability to organize work, set objectives and establish priorities
  • May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites

Hours: Currently days/evenings, including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

SALARY:
Minimum: $38.80 per hour
Maximum: $52.91 per hour
