Job summary

William Osler Health System is seeking a Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine to perform procedures, support radiologists with imaging quality, and uphold patient care standards across Osler sites.

The role requires graduation from an approved Nuclear Medicine program, CAMRT and CMRITO registration, and experience in nuclear medicine including IV/ECG setup. Travel between Osler sites may be required.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Program.
  • Current registration with CAMRT and CMRITO is required.
  • Experience in nuclear medicine including IV setup and ECG setup is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures as per departmental policy.
  • Provide radiologists with high-quality imaging and assist with data acquisition and analysis.
  • Ensure optimal patient care while following organizational and departmental policies.

Accountabilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures as per departmental policy and procedure
  • Provide the radiologists with high quality imaging and have knowledge of computer acquisition and analysis and other related duties as assigned
  • Facilitate the provision of optimal patient care, observing and understanding organizational and departmental policies and procedures
Job qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Program
  • Current registration with CAMRTand CMRITO required
  • Proven skill in nuclear medicine including IVsetup and ECG setup
  • DPX experience is an asset
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record
  • Experience in nuclear cardiology would be an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, the public, medical staff and members of the interdisciplinary team using verbal, written, computer communication means
  • Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and a commitment to excellence in the provision of client care
  • Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration
  • Demonstrated ability to organize work, set objectives and establish priorities
  • May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites
Additional information

Hours: Currently Days/Evenings, 8 hour shifts, weekdays only (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

SALARY:
Minimum: $36.84 per hour
Maximum: $50.24 per hour
