Summary of Duties
To provide patient care within the scope of practice of your profession which Responsible for care of patients within the department. Collects records and verifies patient history and information. Obtains informed consent when required;
Perform a variety of examinations and diagnostic procedures using helical CT scanners in the CT/Angiography department in accordance with applicable legislation, clinical standards and departmental procedures;
Assists with a variety of angiographic & interventional procedures;
Manages images electronically;
Delivers quality patient care, including administration of contrast medium;
Maintains adequate records and documentation according to departmental policy and procedures;
Performs required care and maintenance of equipment as required;
Assists radiology residents and fellows within the CT/Angiography division as directed;
Collaborates and participates in Imaging research as directed.
