Job summary

Mackenzie Health is seeking a Registered Technologist in Radiography to join an inter-professional team in Canada. You will perform diagnostic imaging for in-patient and out-patient clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to health and safety policies.

Candidates must hold a Diploma in Radiography and be in good standing with CMRTO; CAMRT/OAMRT membership is preferred. You may be assigned across various Medical Imaging areas, with a commitment to care and safety.

Qualifications

• Diploma (Degree) in Radiography from an accredited institution.
• Must be a registered member in good standing of College of Medical Radiography Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
• Preferably CAMRT/OAMRT membership.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, patient/family centered care as part of an inter-professional team.
• Complete diagnostic images for in-patient and out-patient clients accurately and efficiently.
• Rotate through x-ray master and other areas of the Medical Imaging department as assigned.

As part of the inter-professional team the Registered Technologist plays an essential role in providing quality and patient/family centered care. The Registered technologist is responsible to work within a team environment to complete diagnostic images of In-patient and Out-patient clients in an accurate, efficient and professional manner. All roles are essential in providing a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, physicians, volunteers and others by ensuring that health and safety policies are followed. Staff will rotate through x-ray master.

What must you have?

• Diploma (Degree) in Radiography from an accredited institution.


• Must be a registered member in good standing of College of Medical Radiography Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).

Preferably, Your Profile Also Includes

• Membership in CAMRT/OAMRT preferred.


• Quality Control experience, an asset.


• Previous experience within the Registered Technologist classification.


• Primary assignment in Xray; However, you may be assigned to all areas of the Medical Imaging department at Mackenzie Health including all offsite locations.


• This position is being represented by OPSEU.


• You may be required to work at any site of Mackenzie Health.
