North Bay Regional Health Centre seeks a Radiology technologist within Diagnostic Imaging in North Bay, Ontario. The role involves performing X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other imaging procedures as part of a skilled health-team environment.

The position requires CMRT Ontario registration and BLS-HCP certification, with CAMRT credential considered an asset. A strong organizational ability and willingness to cross-train across modalities are essential.

Competenze

• Member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario required
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification required
• Certified Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.M.R.T.) is an asset
• Strong organizational skills required
• Proficiency in multiple modalities preferred; candidate must be willing to cross train
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health team required

Department: Diagnostic Imaging - Radiology

Diagnostic Imaging refers to several different technologies that use highly specialized equipment to quickly and accurately image the human body in order to diagnose, monitor or treat medical conditions. Each type of technology gives different information about the area of the body being studied or treated. These tests are performed by skilled technologists with specialized training. The Diagnostic Imaging Department at the NBRHC consists of, X-ray, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Mineral Density, Echocardiography, Mammography, Ontario Breast Screening and MRI with support services such as Picture Archiving and Communication Systems delivering images instantly to our physicians.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certification/Experience/Knowledge:

• Member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario required
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification required
• Certified Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.M.R.T.) is an asset
• Strong organizational skills required
