Job summary

Mint Health + Drugs is seeking a Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team in North Vancouver. You will support compassionate care, collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, and help patients manage their mental health needs in home settings.

The role requires a BScN, current BCCNM registration, availability for 7 am starts and weekends, and a vehicle with a valid license. You will document visits via our apps and contribute to a respectful, inclusive patient

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program.
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Flexible schedule: available for 7 am start and weekends.
  • Strong communication, patience, empathy, and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of medication: Taking daily medication to the homes of our patients.
  • Clinical Support: Prompt and observe insulin dosing.
  • Medication Assistance: Assisting with self-administered medication or providing reminders.
  • Environmental Maintenance: Maintaining clean, safe, and tidy patient rooms.
  • Reporting: Reporting changes in patient condition, and behavior.
  • Documentation: Documenting visit details using apps on the company phone.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will play an important part in supporting Mint's commitment to exceptional service, operational excellence, and a positive experience for patients, customers, and team members.

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for someone who brings the right mix of experience, professionalism, initiative, and care.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Education:Graduate of an accredited, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program
  • Certification: Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with a bachelor's Degree and current practicing registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Flexible schedule :must be available for 7 am start, and available on weekends
  • Soft Skills:Strong communication, patience, empathy, and the ability to work in a team.
  • Drivers License :Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Criminal Record Check :Completed by us prior to hire
