Job summary

Mint Health + Drugs is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in North Vancouver. You will support Mint’s commitment to exceptional patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and help deliver thoughtful service that puts people first.

In this role you will provide home-based medication delivery, insulin administration support, medication reminders, and ensure clean, safe patient environments while documenting visits on company apps.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN/BSN) program.
  • Current, active registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as RN in good standing.
  • Must be available for 7 am start and weekends.
  • Strong communication, patience, empathy and ability to work in a team.
  • Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license; access to a vehicle may be required.
  • Criminal Record Check completed prior to hire.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of medication to patients' homes.
  • Clinical support including insulin dosing observation.
  • Medication assistance and reminders for self-administered meds.
  • Environmental maintenance for clean, safe patient rooms.
  • Reporting changes in patient condition or behavior.
  • Documentation of visit details using company apps.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will play an important part in supporting Mint’s commitment to exceptional service, operational excellence, and a positive experience for patients, customers, and team members.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Delivery of medication :Taking daily medication to the homes of our patients
  • Clinical Support:Prompt and observe of insulin dosing
  • Medication Assistance:Assisting with self-administered medication or providing reminders.
  • Environmental Maintenance:Maintaining clean, safe, and tidy patient rooms.
  • Reporting:Reporting changes in patient condition, and behavior
  • Documentation :Documenting visit details using apps on the company phone
What You’ll Bring

We are looking for someone who brings the right mix of experience, professionalism, initiative, and care.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Education:Graduate of an accredited, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program
  • Certification:Current, active registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a Registered Nurse (RN), in good standing. Must be able to submit a letter of good standing
  • Flexible schedule :must be available for 7 am start, and available on weekends
  • Soft Skills:Strong communication, patience, empathy, and the ability to work in a team.
