Homewood Ravensview is seeking a Registered Psychiatric Nurse or Registered Nurse to join a start-up facility focused on high-quality, patient-centered care in a team-based environment.
The role involves comprehensive mental health and addictions care, assessments, counseling, and collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans. Prior BC nursing registration and CPR certification are required.

This means, we need your creativity, flexibility, collaboration, and passion to help develop and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
As part of an interdisciplinary team the Registered Psychiatric Nurse or Registered Nurse provides direct health care services to patients presenting with a wide variety of complex addictions and mental health issues. The nurse performs physical, addiction, and mental status assessments; refers patients to the physician for further examination; and administers prescribed treatments and medications. The nurse also observes, monitors, evaluates, and documents patient progress, symptoms, and behavioral changes, and performs a variety of health care interventions. The nurse is expected to provide counselling, education, and support to individual patients as well as in a group therapy environment using a motivational and health promotion approach. The nurse works collaboratively with other members of the interdisciplinary team, the patient, families, and the community.

Pay range for this position is $41.42- $54.52/hour.
