Homewood Ravensview is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses for a casual position in Victoria. You will provide direct health care services to patients with addictions and mental health needs, perform assessments, administer medications, document progress, and support patients, families, and the team.
Successful candidates hold a LPN Diploma and current BC licensure (BCCNP), with First Aid/CPR and Non-violent Crisis Intervention training preferred.
We are currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses for a casual position.
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct health care services to patients presenting with a wide variety of complex addictions and mental health issues. Working within scope of practice, you will perform physical, addiction, and mental status assessments; refer patients to the physician for further examination; and administer prescribed treatments and medications. You will observe, monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress, symptoms, and behavioural changes, and perform a variety of health care interventions. You’ll also provide counselling, education, and support using a motivational and health promotion approach and work collaboratively with other members of the interdisciplinary team, the patient, the family, and the community.
