Job summary

Scarborough Health Network (SHN) is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join the Surgical Suites. You will provide compassionate, high‑quality nursing care to diverse patients and families, delivering safe perioperative care in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.

You will practice according to the College of Nurses of Ontario standards, uphold SHN’s Code of Conduct, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
• Current BCLS certification
• Perioperative Nursing Certificate or commensurate experience
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality nursing care to patients and their families in the Surgical Suites.
• Practice according to the College of Nurses of Ontario standards and SHN policies.
