Southampton Care Centre in Southampton, ON is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join our on-site team at 140 Grey Street South.
Reporting to the Director of Care, the RPN delivers direct care per care plans, coordinates with multidisciplinary staff, documents resident information, and participates in quality improvement initiatives. We value leadership, strong communication and ongoing education for success in this role.

Southampton Care Centre is a fully accredited long term care home in Southampton, Ontario and serves 88 residents. Join our team as a Registered Practical Nurse!
Reporting to the Director of Care, the role of a Registered Practical Nurse encompasses a wide range of professional nursing responsibilities in accordance with the standards of nursing practice as outlined by the College of Nurses. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, this role provides support in the coordination of care, overseeing designated nursing personnel, and executing tasks as delegated. The Registered Practical Nurse is responsible for delivering direct care in accordance with the established care plans, ensuring the accurate and timely documentation of resident information, facilitating the orientation of new team members and residents, and participating in assigned committees. This position also requires the application of quality improvement and risk management principles, as well as the efficient management of supplies and the meticulous upkeep of the physical environment and equipment.
