Zusammenfassung

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our Vaughan team in Ontario. You will provide patient-centered nursing care to residents, following provincial standards and care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold current RPN licensure in the applicable province, demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, and have experience with seniors. CPR/First Aid and a recent background check are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Current registration as an RPN in the applicable province.
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge in nursing care.
• Experience working with seniors and with unregulated care providers preferred.
• Education and experience in gerontology, rehab, or long-term care is an asset.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with residents and families.

How YOU Make a Difference

• RPNs are responsible for providing planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care in accordance with the provincial standards of care.

• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse in the applicable province
• Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge
• Experience working with seniors and with unregulated care providers preferred
• Education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/complex/long term care an asset
• Strong drive, respect and an understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role
• Focus on teamwork and customer service with the ability to build trusted relationships
• Strong written and oral communication skills and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
• Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft office applications
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required
• Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one
