Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) - Carden

Join RhynoCare Staffing Solutions as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in Carden. We are seeking highly professional, experienced RPNs to work in long-term and acute care facilities in the Bobcaygeon area.

This position offers above-average wages, travel compensation, and accommodation. Shifts include early morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight hours with consistent scheduling until further notice.

Responsibilities

1. Provide nursing care according to established policies, physician’s orders, and resident care plans within the scope of practice of an RPN.
2. Apply sound nursing principles to deliver excellent nursing and personal care in assigned areas.
3. Ensure timely and comprehensive resident admissions, orientations, transfers, and discharges.
4. Manage supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, following protocols on all shifts.
5. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.

Requirements

1. Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
2. Ability to work with persons with infectious diseases.
3. BLS Certification.
4. Valid First Aid & CPR.
5. Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (MMRV), a negative TB skin test within one year, and Hepatitis B vaccination.
6. Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
7. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Flexibility to work various shift times, including eight or twelve hours shifts.
10. Willingness to 'float' between units as needed.
11. Reliability to be placed at designated facilities/units.
12. Compliance with RhynoCare Healthcare shift acceptance/cancellation policies.
