Job summary

Yee Hong Centre For Geriatric Care in Markham, Ontario is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to supervise unit staff and coordinate resident care with the interdisciplinary team. You will communicate regularly with families and ensure high-quality, resident-centred care in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario, CPR certification, and a clear Vulnerable Sector Screen.

Qualifications

• Registered Practical Nurse with current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current CPR Certificate
• Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Screen
• Experience in nursing is an asset
• Good leadership skills

Performs the functions of Registered Practical Nurse in compliance with the standards of practice for Registered Practical Nurse developed by the College of Nurses (CNO), and provides high quality nursing service that reflects the organization's resident centred approach, vision and policies.
