Job summary

Yee Hong Centre For Geriatric Care in Markham, Ontario, is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to provide high-quality nursing services in a resident-centered setting. You will supervise day-to-day staff on the unit and coordinate resident care with the interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds a current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario and a valid CPR certificate. Leadership, problem-solving, and strong family communication are essential, with shift work

Qualifications

• RPN with current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Experience in nursing is an asset.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Strong leadership and supervision abilities.
• Initiative, problem solving and sound judgement.

Job description

Performs the functions of Registered Practical Nurse in compliance with the standards of practice for Registered Practical Nurse developed by the College of Nurses (CNO), and provides high quality nursing service that reflects the organization's resident centred approach, vision and policies.
