Job summary

Brant Community Healthcare System in Ontario is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Operating Room, PACU and Day Surgery. You will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care and collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Mandatory qualifications include RN diploma, registration with CNO, BCLS, completion of post-grad OR course, and at least one year of OR experience. We offer diverse schedules and strong professional support within BCHS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college nursing program.
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Completion of post-grad Operating Room course required.
• Minimum of one year current Operating Room experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the operating room.
• Collaborate with anesthesiology, surgeons and staff to ensure patient safety.
• Monitor patient status before, during and after procedures.
• Demonstrate commitment to ongoing education and best practices in perioperative care.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Operating Room, PACU and Day Surgery, the successful applicant will be responsible for comprehensive nursing care in the operating room and must meet the following criteria:

Mandatory Qualifications
