Job summary

Trillium Health Partners in Mississauga Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The role requires 3–5 years of OR experience, completion of an OR certificate, and strong nursing practice with CPR/BCLS credentials.

The successful candidate will support the OR team across day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts. THP emphasizes compassionate care, diversity and inclusion, and a commitment to patient safety.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of OR experience.
• O.R. Certificate course completed.
• Demonstrated clinical competence in nursing practice.
• Certification in sanctioned medical acts and added nursing skills.
• CAN Certification of Perioperative nursing would be considered an asset
• Current BCLS and CPR Certification required.
• Reliable and flexible individual to work as part of a diverse work team.
• Ability to think critically and effectively in order to prioritize needs in emergency situations.
• Highly effective decision making, problem solving and organizational skills combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Positive attendance and work record essential.
